Format for
Global Learn Day

Light a Candle

Global Learn Day X
starts at 00:00 GMT Sunday, October 8, 2006;
in the Americas, this is Saturday, October 7, 2006.

This link will give you the start time in major cities around the world.

Format and How it Works

How We Will Spend the Time: About one-third of the time we spend in conversation will be for the panelists to describe their work. Another third will be spent by Panel conversation between each other. And one-third will be directed toward comments and questions from our audience.

The Goal: The goal is to make this conversation lively and so interesting that if you were listening in a car radio you would not dare to touch the dial.

How to listen: The audience can listen over the telephone by joining us in our American Call Center. (Use cheap phone cards if you care to join us this way. Alternatively, the audience can listen by joining us through a room provided by Talking Communities.

Text chat and blog comments: There should be lively exchanges in the text chat area and in real time blog commentary.

The Details: URL's with information about where you can learn all the details about the Panelists and their ideas will be posted well in advance of the event. Blog comments will be most welcome!

When? Please join us. October 8, 2006 - Unless you live in the Americas. In that case, join us late Saturday night, October 7. The Start time for the event is 00:00 GMT.
